Ruins

Ruins are structures that provide a source of valuable loot. They appear throughout the overworld, nether and end, and have varying levels of difficulty.
Unlocking loot
Right-click the ruin’s central chest to begin unlocking it. This begins a countdown, which upon completion, will allow you to open the chest for significant loot. Some ruins may have waves of enemies which must be cleared to continue the unlock timer.
Right-clicking a compass allows players to find ruins in their dimension. Ruins can also be seen on Minto’s live map .

Nether ruins

Nether ruins are the fastest, and allow players to obtain beginner to high-tier loot.
Once started, waves of enemies will occasionally spawn that will stop the unlocking chest until cleared. After each wave, a small amount of helpful loot (such as food) will drop at the ruin’s beacon. The main goal though, is to clear all waves, and unlock the chest in the center.
A ruin type exists for each nether biome, with a tier for its difficulty: Wastes ɪ,
Soul ɪɪ,
Crimson ɪɪɪ,
Warped ɪɪɪ, and
Basalt ɪv.
Doing multiple nether ruins of increasing difficulty is a highly effective way to scale into combat-ready gear.
Overworld ruins

Overworld ruins grant players the ability to obtain higher tier villagers who offer a variety of outstanding trades.
These ruins spawn infrequently with an announcement, and last 15 minutes to an hour. Due to their higher rarity and demand, expect large fights to erupt around them.
End ruins

Ruins also exist in the end, and they can drop end-game valuables such as shulker boxes, elytra, and large amounts of obsidian.
Waves of enemies will spawn every 4–8 hrs, pausing the countdown until all mobs are defeated. Given the longer wave durations, you can expect a generous amount of loot to spawn after each wave is cleared. These ruins are claimable, so make them yours and defend them well.
