    Anchors

    Beehive

    Creating a claim

Place an anchor to give blocks HP (within a 96 radius). This effectively creates a claim, viewable on the map and compass. Get an anchor by completing Nether ruins. Anchors require upkeep (emeralds) to function, right-click the anchor to manage this. Once upkept, you can right-click blocks with an empty hand to see block HP.

To get upkeep (emeralds), place buildings, /employ other players, and collect energy from taxes. Use energy from buildings to power crop/mob farms, trading produce with villagers for emeralds.

    Block Health
A tier ɪ block, takes ~93 diamond pickaxe hits to break at peak hours.

Placed anchors have a grace period of around an hour before they show on the map.

Remember to defend your anchor! - if they’re broken by another player with many melee tools (or e.g a TNT cannon), your claim will disappear. Surrounding your anchor with obsidian is a good idea, and player-made defenses can get very advanced.

    Anchor GUI

Right-click a placed anchor to manage it:

    • Upkeep Report Shows important info about your anchor.
    • Name Tag Set the code and name of your anchor.
    • Node Upgrade the protection tier of your anchor.
    • Collect Income Collect taxes (from buildings).
    • Nest Head Manage buildings and taxes in the claim.
    • Head Manage and add players.
    • Emerald Add upkeep.

    Upgrading your protection

All anchors start at tier zero (250 HP), which is cheap, but usually insufficient to stop amateur raids. To upgrade your anchor, click Node Upgrade in the menu, and pick a tier.

    Upgradable tiers:

    • Tier ɪ - Emerald64 emeralds/day - 750 HP
    • Tier ɪɪ - Emerald128 emeralds/day - 1250 HP
    • Tier ɪɪɪ - Emerald192 emeralds/day - 1750 HP
    Tier 4 Protection Claim
A basic claim, with an anchor in the center surrounded by four nodes.

Invulnerable tiers such as ɪv and v are also available, but these require surrounding areas with nodes. Areas surrounded by nodes will get a buff in tier, making it so that raiders must first break a node before raiding deeper into your claim.

    Managing block-specific access with paper

If you want to set up e.g a public shop, you can left-click an interactable block (like a button, chest, door, etc.) with paper to toggle it’s access between:

    • Private (default) - only accessible to players on the anchor or players in their own building range.
    • Trusted - accessible to people inside buildings in your claim.
    • Public - accessible to anyone.
